Join the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra this fall for a concert that flows through Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony No. 6, John Powell’s thrilling How to Train Your Dragon suite, and beloved film scores including A River Runs Through It, Out of Africa, Ice Age, and The Last of the Mohicans.
In a special collaboration, the Little Moon Travelers join the orchestra for world-premiere arrangements by Russell Walden’s of Sanctuary and Out Chasing Horses, blending bluegrass and symphonic sound in a uniquely Steamboat partnership. The evening closes with the powerful finale of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 and Copland’s iconic Hoe Down.
