Music On the Green: Shawn David Allen

From his first guitar at age nine, Shawn used his music to bridge moves from Texas to New Hampshire and then Georgia. He found himself in multiple bands throughout high school, then spent six years playing Atlanta’s bars and clubs. In 2001 the Steamboat ski resort hired him for a two-week gig which turned into 15 winter seasons and well over 1,000 shows, entertaining tens of thousands of vacationers. Shawn continues to write his own songs and covers classic rock and blues ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Tom Petty. ABOUT MUSIC ON THE GREEN PERFORMANCES – 2020 Concerts take place at Yampa River Botanic Park (1000 Pamela Lane, Steamboat Springs). Other areas of park remain open to public during concert with 6-foot social distancing. Online registration for this performance begins at 10:00am MDT Tuesday, September 22. Individuals may RSVP for 1 group, up to 4 people, to be seated together. All attendees must agree to comply with state, county, and local guidelines.
