Ensemble Mélange is a joyful sextet of all-star virtuosos. Ensemble Mélange shakes up the concert experience, forges a personal connection with the audience, and mixes tried-and-true repertoire with a smorgasbord of jewels from distant genres. Ensemble Mélange have performed coast to coast in the US and Canada, toured five times in the Middle East, and have appeared in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall to The Duplex in New York, the Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv, the Brigham Young University Concert Hall in Jerusalem, and Ottawa Chamberfest. The members of the ensemble are incredibly accomplished chamber musicians and graduates of leading conservatories, including The Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Manhattan School of Music, Peabody Conservatory, Mannes College of Music, and Bard College. With a philosophical investment in reaching out to children, the group is dedicated to bringing in the next generation of music lovers.  About Strings School Days:Strings School Days is a unique music and arts education program provided by Strings Music Festival at no cost to schools, students, or teachers. Annually, the program serves over 3,000 K-12 students in 14 schools throughout the Yampa Valley. The program provides an opportunity for local students to learn from, rehearse with, and perform alongside professional musicians. Through this program, Strings aims for students to appreciate diverse cultures, develop a broad worldview, and move forward with confidence as arts supporters in their secondary and post-secondary lives.
