The concert opens elegantly with Boccherini’s graceful and luminous String Quintet in E Major, Op. 11, celebrated for its lyrical charm and delightful interplay between instruments. The evening culminates in Mendelssohn’s extraordinary String Octet in E-flat Major, Op. 20, a youthful and exhilarating tour de force filled with vibrant melodies, breathtaking energy, and dazzling virtuosity. A captivating celebration of strings unbound, blending tradition with innovation.

Join us at 6:00pm before the show for an informal discussion with Jamey Lamar—renowned recording engineer, lecturer, and classical music commentator—for a captivating 30-minute pre-concert discussion on decoding classical.
