Featured Wine
Chateau Angelus: 1999 S’Emilion Grand Cru, France
Expert tasting note: “Deep & dark ruby-red in color, but not opaque. Rich, ripe black-cherry aromas combine with attractive new oak and greenish touches add complexity to the nose. Cassis and redcurrant fruit is lifted by good acidity. Plentiful firm tannins comprise the structure, giving good grip. Alcohol is quite warming, but the fresh fruit flavors ensure good length. A nice wine with obvious potential to age, it is multi-dimensional and more than just a super-ripe fruit bomb.” – 04/24 (ep) DCAMW
Meursault Charmes: 2018 White Burgundy, France
Classic aromas of citrus zest touched with roasted hazelnut are present in this wine, pleasing the palate with a sleek, refined finish.
