The Steamboat Institute’s film festival offers five entertaining films, celebrating individual freedom, personal responsibility, the entrepreneurial American spirit, and the inspiration of faith and family.

Each film will feature remarks and audience Q&A with a producer or star of that film. The Festival is family-friendly.

Two of the Festival’s films will be shown at Strings Music Festival:

  • Doors Open 2pm:
    2:30 – 5:00pm Film Festival: “Little Pink House” featuring panel discussion with Courtney and Ted Balaker (co-producers) and Susette Kelo (Ms. Kelo’s home was the subject of the landmark case, Kelo v. City of New London, involving the use of eminent domain to take private property, which was decided by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2005
  • Doors Open 7:00pm:
    7:30 – 10:00pm Film Festival: “Life With Dog” – Red Carpet World Premiere, featuring remarks by producer and film star Corbin Bernsen (nominated for multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards for his starring role as “Arnie Becker” on the television series “L.A. Law”)
