Loading Events

Tickets start at $65

World-renowned harpist Yolanda Kondonassis solos, plus a world-premiere arrangement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 by Timothy Higgins.

Kick off the season with a sumptuous program, beginning with an evocation of the humpback whale in a work for solo harp by 40-year-old Japanese-American composer Takuma Itoh and two works by Arnold Schoenberg, each celebrating its 150th anniversary and composed in the deliciously rich tonal language of turn-of-the-century Vienna. A fresh arrangement of Beethoven’s epic Eroica Symphony will ring in the new season with peals of triumph and joy.

*Donors of $500 or more to the 2024 Strings Annual Fund are granted early ticket access.
