Dances and Daydreams – The Augmented Reality Concert for Strings Music Festival
Premiered Wednesday, October 28 at 6:00 p.m. MDT
EVENT CONCLUDED
An augmented reality (AR) performance! Details below. Ticket includes full concert and a post-concert Q&A hosted by Strings Music Festival concert commentator Jamey Lamar. Enjoy as many times as you like until program expires (48 hours after premiere).
C Street Brass began in 2008 as a small project between five friends who are coincidentally the most handsome men ever to grace the earth. Equally as comfortable in the sound world of baroque music as they are in Broadway, C Street Brass is as committed as ever to connect lovers of the arts from all walks of life around a highly energetic and engaging concert experience. The quintet has visited Steamboat for six consecutive summers, 2013 through 2019, as the Ensemble in Residence for Strings Music Festival. C Street Brass is: Scott Nadelson (trumpet), John Ehrenburg (trumpet), Jon Carroll (horn), Gabriel Colby (trombone), and Hakeem Bilal (bass trombone).
“A fantastic and imaginative approach to brass quintet music.” -Chris Botti
[Repertoire for this performance to be announced.]
