7:00pm live concert audio • 5:30pm bar and light snacks open

Since tickets went fast to this free “welcome back” concert, Strings Music Festival is happy to expand the event with a free community listening opportunity in the beautiful park adjacent to Strings Pavilion. Music from the live concert will fill the evening air while listeners picnic, dance, and enjoy liquid refreshments and light snacks from the Strings Patio Bar.

Formed in 2017, Buffalo Commons is a project grown in Steamboat Springs that moves the souls of all in the room. Harmonizing vocals and tight musicianship helped slingshot the band into the Colorado music scene. Their huge infectious energy has attracted a loyal and fun-loving “herd” of fans.

One can’t help but be captivated by singer/songwriter and guitarist Tyree Woods’ voice, delivering vocals that are at once soulful and powerful. Band members Eric Baker on mandolin, Randy Kelley on fiddle, Gabe Riding on banjo, and Denton Turner on upright bass provide a full body of sound to match the emotion and intensity of Tyree’s vocals.

Focused on writing original music with carefully crafted compositions and arrangements, the band works hard to stand out as a unique sound in acoustic music. Buffalo Commons’ deep lyrics, sing-along choruses, and captivating energy on stage will pull at the heartstrings to make you laugh, dance, cry, and rejoice— all in one show.

PARKING: please park in the Meadows Lot, across Pine Grove Rd. — enter at 1165 Bangtail Way. Listening parties take place in Strings Festival Park at the corner of Mt. Werner Rd. and Pine Grove Rd.
