As members of the beloved Rocky Mountain ensemble Elephant Revival, Bonnie Paine and Bridget Law have headlined Red Rocks three times and released six albums. The enchanting collaboration between Bonnie and Bridget is equal parts discovery and familiarity formed over nearly two decades of friendship. Bonnie’s vocals warble and wend through her songs that are rich, haunting, and playful. Bridget meets Bonnie with confident fiddling that is equally capable of exhilarating crescendos or providing the background of a verse, like a field of grasses holding a breeze. Together, these two welcome audiences into their collaboration and open little portals into temporary dimensions which— some might say— only music is capable of building.
