Music for the Community: Pay-What-You-Can.

Music for the Community: Pay what you can! Strings welcomes music lovers to enjoy a performance without the worries of cost or seating. Attendees are invited to pay what they can and choose seats anywhere in the Pavilion.

Join Payden & Andrea for a sensory-friendly concert. Everyone is invited to this Pay-What-You-Can performance, especially our friends and family in the Yampa Valley of all ages who experience
disability, neurodivergence, or sensory sensitivities. Lights will be up, the music will be soft, and there will be places to move around while you enjoy the show.

Payden Widner and Andrea Pares have been making music together for over 12 years, beginning as co-writers and performers in the Colorado-based folk band Avenhart, which toured and recorded extensively for five years before the pandemic. Today, their collaboration has taken on a renewed focus—centered on joy, connection, and community.

They craft and perform soulful Americana tunes, folksy pop covers, and anything that sparks a smile—for themselves and their audience. Whether playing intimate house concerts, lively breweries, collaborating with other Colorado bands, or diving into the occasional songwriting project, their mission remains the same: to make music for the love of it.

*Donors of $500 or more to the 2025 Annual Fund receive presale access. Donor presales begin April 30 at 10:00AM MDT. On sale to the public May 9 at 10:00AM MDT.
