This event is free to attend and does not require tickets. All Music on the Green performances take place at the Yampa River Botanic Park.
Join us every Wednesday morning this summer for our weekly free concert series, co-presented by the Yampa River Botanic Park. With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.
This week’s featured artist, Rabbi Kolby Morris-Dahary, is the Rabbi of Har Mishpacha: Jewish Congregation of Steamboat and the founder and director of STAND (Steamboat Team to Disrupt Antisemitism and Discrimination). With backgrounds in vocal music performance, ethnomusicology, and West African percussion and dance, Rabbi Kolby is passionate about integrating music from diverse cultures and traditions into her work. This summer, she looks forward to bringing these rich musical influences to Strings, creating an experience for all ages that celebrates global cultural music.
Rabbi Kolby is dedicated to fostering inclusive communities, engaging in interfaith dialogue, and advocating for social justice. She lives with her family in Oak Creek, and they are excited to come dance at the green with us! Through her leadership, she strives to educate our Yampa Valley community about how to become upSTANDers, while nurturing spiritual growth and connection within our Jewish community.
