This event is free to attend and does not require tickets. All Music on the Green performances take place at the Yampa River Botanic Park.

Join us every Wednesday morning this summer for our weekly free concert series, co-presented by the Yampa River Botanic Park. With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning.

This week’s featured artist is C. Scott, a folk musician whose sound bridges the rugged Tennessee hills of his upbringing with the mystic twang of the Southwest. His music combines early roots-folk with a story-driven style, reflecting the triumphs and struggles of the blue-collar grind and life beyond the 9-to-5. For years, he pursued another career, leaving music on the back burner, but songwriting never left him. His return led to Wrong Horizons, a debut album that reignited his passion.

After his Broadway covers gained traction on social media, he began recording an EP reimagining these classics, which will be released in the summer of 2025. When he’s not performing, C. Scott spends time with his partner and their animals—five chickens (Dolly, Patsy, Tammy, Loretta, and Emmylou), two cats (Scout and Tillie), and a horse (Bee). You’ll often find him playing shows around Denver, sharing stories through music.
