These free, all-ages performances are open to all music lovers. The second event features the Busch Trio, recipients of the Kersjes Prize for exceptional chamber music and the ideal interpreters for the rich piano trio repertoire.

Chicago based trumpeter and composer Josh Rzepka has been featured on NPR, PBS, and has been heard on jazz radio across the country and the world.
Chicago based trumpeter and composer Josh Rzepka has been featured on NPR, PBS, and has been heard on jazz radio across the country and the world. His album Into the Night reached the #9 position on the JazzWeek radio chart and the #5 position on the CMJ Jazz chart. He has been heralded not only for his jazz playing and composing, but also for his classical performances. An active educator, Josh teaches trumpet in the Chicago metro area as well as lessons nationally to students of all ages.
About Strings School Days
Strings School Days is a unique music and arts education program provided by Strings Music Festival at no cost to schools, students, or teachers. Annually, the program serves over 3,000 K-12 students in 14 schools throughout the Yampa Valley. The program provides an opportunity for local students to watch, rehearse with, and perform alongside professional musicians. Through this program, Strings aims for students to appreciate diverse cultures, develop a broad worldview, and move forward with confidence as arts supporters in their secondary and post-secondary lives.
