Musical Talk with Vijay Gupta • at Library Hall

Vijay Gupta joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 2007 at the age of 19. He founded and serves as Artistic Director for Street Symphony, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music to people living in homelessness and incarceration. Gupta is a TED Speaker, and a 2011 TED Senior Fellow.

Join C Street Brass for a lively performance at Butcherknife Brewing Co. Butcherknife will donate a portion of the proceeds
from sales that night to Strings.

FREE • Community Yoga at the Strings Festival Park
Speakers in the Strings Park will broadcast the classical rehearsal from the Pavilion.  Instructors from the Yoga Center of Steamboat will teach these all-level classes. $10 suggested,

We aim to raise awareness of music, and bring diverse programming to as many community members as possible through our extensive free outreach performances. From the youngest audience to Routt County’s senior residents, Strings Music Festival’s outreach programs have something for everyone. Outreach programs include the Strings School Days youth music education program, educational events at the Bud Werner Memorial Library, and Music on the Green concerts for the entire family at the Yampa River Botanic Park.
