Noam Pikelny Hits it Big in the World of Bluegrass

Strings Music Festival luckily booked Noam Pikelny before he was awarded not one but two prestigious awards last week at the International Bluegrass Music Awards.  Noam scored “Album of the Year” and was also dubbed “Banjo Player of the Year” all in one glory filled night.  Go pick up his winning album, Noam Pikelny Plays Kenny Baker Plays Bill Monroe and don’t miss his live concert at Strings Music Festival, November 4, at 7pm. Noam is touring with an elite ensemble of bluegrass musicians, good friend, Aoife O’Donovan lead vocalist of Crooked Still, bassist Barry Bales(Alison Krauss & Union Station)and fiddlerShad Cobb (John Cowan Band).
